A Real-time Punching Solution with a combination of RFID Tags, SMS/GPS/GPRS Technologies.

RFID readers at Bus stations and Bus stops, Active tags on BUS, SMS/GPRS communication modules and other control systems at Bus stop.


The system will provide real-time information in Bus stops where large display screens are placed.

Business Need:

Car dealer  having a service centre wants service bay vehicle tracking to speed up vehicle delivery, better customer service and maximum utilisation of the service bays.
Proposition and Execution:

Vehicles tagged with RFID when entering to service bay and each service bay is installed with RFID readers.

The central database and application interface as well as web interface used to control and schedule the work at bay and track the vehicle and status of work done.

EAS tag stripes using AM technology and UHF sticker tags used to track library books and other items.

Business Need:

Theft and misplacement of important books and records is major issue faced by most of librarians in colleges.

Most of the libraries are using open source library software and thus integration of RFID readers and tags along with barcode stickers seems quite easy.

 

Proposition and Execution:

Offered AM tags and gate readers to prevent theft of valuable books, CDs and other records,

Issued smartcards to Students and staff to get access to library and the same smartcard is used as a data storage device for book issue and return system.

Books are tagged with AM strips and RFID UHF passive stickers, issue and return of books will be automatically recorded to library software with an application interface.

Coir mat manufacturing Process Automation & Online monitoring

Production process automation using UHF RFID tags and readers in a coir mat manufacturing unit

Business Need:

One large coir manufacturing export oriented unit in Kerala wants their production process tracked and get real time information online.

Proposition and Execution:

Used  passive UHF RFID tags and readers to identify each bundle of mat in processing.

These tags identify while stacking and moving from one warehouse to another and time and date, product id and reader id will send to central database.

The application software developed (in JAVA ) has a web interface and authorized persons can view the status of each product stage by stage.

Processing at each stage is different and together it will take 60-70 days to complete a single coir mat.

The authorities should be able to send warning signals automatically during critical events and trace vehicles, persons and objects.

The system comprises, wireless radio access points to connect NVRs to control stations where PTZ and thermal cameras are installed in all critical points.

The control server will have software to identify objects or persons during its moving track over a period.

The number plate recognition system automatically records vehicle passage through city entry and exit points.

Long staying of suspicious objects can be automatically alerted. Traffic violations can be recorded with vehicle details.
